Hours: Tuesday–Saturday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)

DMS Skin Clinic is a modern, patient-focused aesthetic clinic in North Vancouver. We are seeking a warm, professional Aesthetic Clinical Assistant to join our team and support our physician in delivering exceptional care. No prior experience is required—full training is provided.

Mandatory Requirements (Must meet all to be eligible)

• Fluent in English
• Fluent in Mandarin
• Professional, warm demeanor and excellent etiquette
• Able to translate between English and Mandarin for doctor and patients during consultations and treatments

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Prepare treatment rooms with equipment, products, and sterile supplies for aesthetic procedures (Botox, dermal fillers, lasers, microneedling, skincare treatments)
• Escort patients to treatment rooms and review intake forms, medical history, contraindications, and treatment goals
• Assist the physician/injector during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and adherence to safety protocols
• Take standardized before-and-after photos for treatment documentation
• Provide post-treatment instructions and skincare guidance under physician supervision
• Clean, sanitize, and restock treatment rooms; maintain inventory of products and supplies
• Monitor patient progress and anticipate practitioner needs during appointments

Administrative Duties

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a seamless, professional experience
• Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments, waitlists, and follow-ups
• Respond professionally to phone and email inquiries regarding treatments, pricing, and pre/post-care instructions
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in the clinic management system
• Process payments, issue receipts, and assist with product sales
• Support clinic workflow to ensure minimal wait times and operational efficiency

Customer Service

• Address patient questions professionally and provide knowledgeable guidance on treatments
• Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• Build strong patient rapport and foster long-term relationships

Operational Support

• Assist with inventory management of injectables, skincare products, and medical supplies
• Prepare treatment carts and ensure proper handling and storage of aesthetic products
• Maintain clinic cleanliness and presentation standards
• Participate in team meetings, product trainings, and continuing education opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aesthetics, dermatology, cosmetic nursing, or medical spa environment preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of common aesthetic treatments and procedures
• Excellent communication skills with a warm, patient-centered approach
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable handling clinical equipment and maintaining sterile procedures
• Proficiency with clinic management or EMR software is an asset
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
