As part of the Y team, you will help maintain and grow our position as leaders in swim lessons and aquatic programs. From developing quality programs, providing staff leadership, to ensuring everyone has fun, you play an important role in the aquatic experience of our members and guests.

**Are you the right fit?**
- Able to monitor, evaluate and deliver quality Aquatic programs and classes
- Provide direct supervision, leadership and growth & development opportunities to Aquatics staff and volunteers
- Provide leadership and supervision to staff and volunteers throughout the facility
- Manage and maintain YSI (YMCA Swim Instructor) program administration
- Fulfill all functions of a Lifeguard or Swimming Instructor/Supervisor as needed
- Experience in hiring, scheduling, payroll administration, supervising and coaching staff
- Monitor staff certifications, monthly budgets, program statistics, create reports and database management

**What else do you need?**
- 4-6 years of experience in Aquatics
- Standard First Aid or Aquatic Emergency Care certification (current)
- NL (National Lifeguard) Certification
- YSI (YMCA Swim Instructor) or equivalent
- LSI (Lifesaving Instructor)
- Clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check

- NLI (National Lifeguard Instructor)
- LSI IT (Lifesaving Instructor - Instructor Trainer)
