**HDPE Process Manager**

Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Director of Engineering, this position works with operations on standard best practices, provides technical support to internal and external customers, oversees and maintains an organized and safe laboratory environment, assists with supply chain purchases and quality issues, optimized material utilization for quality and cost-effective products and optimize pipe production lines.
- Optimize pipe production lines, and material utilization for quality and cost-effective products.
- Work with manufacturing operations to ensure standard best practices are followed.
- Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
- Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality.
- Evaluates and document the quality of the products returned by the client and help identify root causes of production non-conformances to avoid any recurrence.
- Identify smart developments and new opportunities, to coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to translate findings into value-added solutions.
- Builds relationships with internal customers by helping them to optimize production lines to reduce material waste, testing, training and joint development projects.

**Education and Experience**:

- MS/Ph.D in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or related discipline.
- 6+ years of experience iwith resin/extrusion/pipe manufacturing
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations

**Abilities and Skills**:

- Understanding of thermoplastic polymers and recycled materials.
- Technical curiosity and enthusiastic approach to solving technical challenges.
- Business acumen and organizational agility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, while working collaboratively with others.
- Efficient, reliable with attention to detail. All work is completed with care to ensure quality.
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
- Takes a balanced approach of directive and collaborative
- be open to ideas and input; will ultimately be responsible in making the decisions
- Works in a logical, systematic manner to accomplish day-to-day work activities. Does what it takes to get the job done right the first time
