Chestermere Smiles Dental is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a friendly and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking to expand our team with a Registered Dental Assistant II (RDA II).

**Summary**

As a Dental Assistant at Chestermere Smiles Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. This full-time position requires at least 2 years of experience in dental assisting, and we are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and ready to contribute to our practice.

Hours

M 10:30-7

T 9:30-6

W 10:30-7

R 8:30-5

Alternating S 8:30-3

Potential to add alternating Fridays

**Responsibilities**
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing the necessary instruments and materials.
- Ensure patient comfort by providing support and reassurance throughout their visit.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Manage sterilization of instruments and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant is required.
- Proficiency in dental software such as Dentrix is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Experience in pediatrics or orthodontics is an asset but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are crucial for patient interaction.

Pay: $22.35-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
