**Job Title: Robotics Coordinator/** **Technical Coordinator**

**Department**:Technical (Robotic Welding)

**Reports To**:Technical Assistant Manager

Coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery, equipment and facility.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support preventative maintenance (PM) system by helping Technical Team Leader to get PM’s done on schedule
- Review PM’s Tasks vs. Downtime to improve PM tasks to reduce downtime
- Assign DM activity to Technical Team Leaders and Technical Associates
- Support Technical Team Leaders in making sure all DM activities are completed by schedule due date
- Support of New Model Validation sheets and Problem Tracking Charts
- Make sure that all schedule due dates are being met and all information is up to date
- Perform down time analysis to find key downtime problems and assign DM to Technical Team Leaders as focus items
- Follow up on items and trends to insure final counter measure has corrected problem
- Interprets company policies to associates and enforces safety regulations
- Support all NM installations
- Manage over time and vacation for all Technical Team Leaders and Technical Associates on shift
- Initiates or suggests plans to motivate associates to achieve work goals
- Confers with other coordinators to coordinate activities of individual departments
- Complete communication documentation as well as updating any documentation that need to be change due to an improvement in process; This includes CAD drawings, line layouts, and SOP’s
- Other duties may be assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-secondary education in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Minimum two more years of experience in PLC programming, instrumentation and controls is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lead and oversee a team including training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to carry leadership responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

**Experience**:

- leadership: 1 year (preferred)
