**POSITION**: Marketing Specialist

**Position Summary**:
We are adding an exciting Marketing Specialist position to the team, and we're looking for someone who can really champion the Deerhurst Resort consumer. This role will support our golf & recreation, food & beverage and hospitality businesses, meaning there will be a need to immerse yourself in our dynamic offerings and capture the essence of what makes our resort truly special You'll work closely with our Director of Marketing and collaborate with our Marketing Manager to achieve our department's purpose of building incredible brand momentum while maximizing revenue across our entire resort. This role is based onsite and will require weekend coverage occasionally. Join our team and be a part of something amazing

**What you will do**:
- Support resort dining outlet marketing efforts, including menu design and seasonal promotions- Collaboratively work with the marketing team to continue to build the Deerhurst brand through look, feel and voice.- Support the Director of Marketing in the design of advertising for digital, print and out-of-home advertising- Design & coordinate signage orders- Assist in concept development for new events & experiences offered at the resort- Assist in developing promotions & offers to drive business- Support website content updates, ensuring accuracy & clarity, and supporting SEO strategies- Support the Marketing Manager in content creation

**What**you**bring to the role**
- Adaptability and the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time- A collaborative, team-player approach to work- An enthusiasm for the hospitality and the Muskoka lifestyle- Strong skills in design and visual branding- Experienced in Adobe software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and/or Canva.- 2+ years of experience in marketing, events or communications
