As the Supervisor - Inside Sales, you will assistbranch management in formulation of sales strategies and executes, plans and budgets to grow accounts, margin, and recruit new customers. You will provide leadership to assigned staff to meet and optimize established levels of business performance objectives, service, productivity, and quality. You will maintainpositive employee morale while servicing customer base in an economical way. **Responsibilities**: - Provides immediate supervision of inside sales and counter personnel. - Coachesand mentors inside and counter staff on order entry, quotations, margin enhancement, problem solving, and communication etiquette. - Takes leadership and direction from branch management and communicates to employees. - Assists with team workload distribution. - Verifies attendance records, provides input on hiring matters, assists with performance appraisals, takes direction on training and development of staff, and assists with disciplinary actions. - Analyzes trends and provides input on branch action plans to correct issues, improve service, and optimize productivity. - Serves asliaisonwith suppliers for return authorizations. - Directs credit management in extension of credit and collection of accountsreceivablele claims and deductions. - Provides and organizes product training for team and vendors. **Experience**: - High School Degree or equivalent required; Bachelors’ Degree preferred - 5+ years required of inside sales experience. - Knowledge of business and management principles, including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. - Administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology. - Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills. - Excellent communication and computer skills. - Time management. - Demonstrate teamwork, leadership, and flexibility - 2 years preferred of sales supervision and department site P&L. - 3 years of electrical experience preferred. - Ability to travel 0% - 25% - WESCO International, Inc., including its subsidiaries and affiliates ("WESCO"), is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
