Global Drain Technologies is a leading manufacturer of engineered drainage systems for the food and beverage industry, industrial facilities, and urban landscape projects.

We’re looking for a motivated brake machine operator to join our production team

**What You'll Do**
- Operate a press brake machine, lifting and maneuvering metal sheets and plates (often weighing up to 50 lbs);
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders;
- Set up the machine with the correct tooling and settings;
- Manage multiple priorities and ensure job schedule is well organized;
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality;
- Perform routine maintenance on the machine, which may involve bending, reaching, and lifting;
- Identify opportunities for improvement;
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
- Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

**What You Bring**
- Experience in metal fabrication is considered an asset;
- Knowledge and experience with press brake operation is an asset;
- Can do attitude, willing to learn;
- Mechanically inclined with good attention to detail;
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs;
- Must be able to frequently move, push, pull lift or carry heavy product;
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting;
- Good hand-eye coordination;
- Self-motivated and self-starter.

**Hours of Work**: 80 hours biweekly. Regular work hours are during the day time but occasionally may require flexibility to work on the weekends to meet business needs.

**Hourly Wage**: Starting at $18 hourly, dependent on experience and skill level.
