**Primary Objectives**:

- Maintain and improve profitability through:

- Providing daily direction to the warehouse team
- Establishing and maintaining exceptional customer service and positive relationships with customers, branches and employees
- Working to resolve issues and errors positively
- Supervise, develop and coach employees by:

- Conducting regular team sessions, ensuring that all team members are clear on their overall and daily priorities
- Fairly and consistently enforcing company policies and procedures to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Ensuring staff is receiving proper training to maximize their effectiveness in the position
- Handling any employee questions or issues as they arise
- Work with other Warehouse Supervisors to identify and address gaps in performance with a plan for improvement
- Monitor picking/put away employee tasks to ensure they are using their time efficiently and working safely
- Addressing picking/receiving errors immediately through coaching the individual to ensure that the error is corrected
- Work with Fleet & Delivery Supervisor to ensure correct & secure loading of trucks
- Ensure cleanliness and organization to improve overall safety in the warehouse
- Ensure that all safety standards are met and exceeded as outlined in the Company Safety Manual
- Demonstrate personal responsibility and accountability, daily, with regard to job performance, attitude, professionalism and commitment to continuous development
- Support and promote the company’s Core Values of Personal Excellence, Teamwork and Achievement

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 general warehouse experience with 2-3 years industry experience with demonstrated product knowledge
- Proven supervisory skills including experience hiring, coaching, disciplining, scheduling and providing training for employees
- Ability to utilize standard office equipment
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building and maintaining good working relationships with suppliers, customers and employees
- Excels in a team environment to achieve both company & personal success
- Makes decisions; deals with situations quickly and calmly under stressful conditions
- Exercises sound judgment when dealing with suppliers, customers and employees
- Able to meet frequent deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Leads and motivates staff to meet and exceed personal and company goals & objectives
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high pressure for results
