Markham, Canada Omnify Lighting Full time

Plans, schedule and allocates raw material to orders for production according to previously established manufacturing requirements, cycle times and lead-time.
- Enters all the Work orders in ERP system & keeps track of the weekly available Production department capacity to ensure that the Customer ship dates are met on time
- Oversees the receiving of all materials - in system & physically.
- Responsible for weekly & monthly Inventory Cycle counts of all the available Inventory, materials, filling up the Main Cage items & updates the same on ERP / Epicor system
- Takes all the Pick & Pack orders, pulls the respective Pick & Pack items from Cage & makes them ready for Shipping team for packaging & shipment
- Coordinates & provide updates for Daily, Weekly Production meetings with Production Manager, Operations staff, Sales team and Customer Success teams.
- Coordinates with Production Manager, Team Leads & Production team members to meet production schedules, working with established standards and objectives.
- Coordinates for sending the raw material to Vendors for secondary processing, ensures product is delivery to and back is coordinated with Logistics and vendors to ensure On time Delivery & coordinates for PO creation for Vendor with Accounts team
- Coordinates & develops Reports with Production Manager and communicates all production results, KPIs, department status, challenges, and successes to Production Manager & VP of Operations, and other team members as directed.
- Oversees inventory management and ensures inventory levels meet current and forecasted demand.
- Acts as backup for supporting roles in production.
- Coordinates and initiates continuous improvement initiatives & Delegates with development in mind.
- Develops and maintains 5S standards for the group and ensure audits are completed on time and corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensures that all Health & Safety policies and procedures are understood and followed.
- Ensures that all QC and QA policies and procedures are understood and followed.
- Improves production efficiencies through the development, coordination and implementation of production procedures
- Performs any other reasonable assignments given by Production Manager, Department Management or his/her designates.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
