Automotive Product Coordinator

**Max Advanced Brakes** is a leading supplier of automotive brake parts in North America, headquartered in Markham, Ontario. In particular, we specialize in performance brake rotors and pads and aim to provide the best product & service for our customers in Canada and the United States. We are currently seeking passionate, ambitious & capable individuals to join our growing team and be a part of the Max Advanced Brakes family.
**Responsibilities**
- Coordinate with factories to follow up on parts development progress, including scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on project timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate and participate in brainstorming sessions, and technical discussions to facilitate innovation and continuous improvement in product development processes.
- Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners, suppliers, and vendors, by responding to inquiries, providing technical documentation, and resolving technical issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Review documents, including technical specifications, design drawings, and other related documents, for specific requirements necessary for processing and ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Research industry-relevant information to stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in the field of automotive industry.
- Manage data collection of internal/external systems utilized by Max Advanced Brakes, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and maintaining proper documentation.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills related to R&D processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including supporting the overall operations of the Product Department, providing assistance and participating in cross-functional initiatives as needed.
**Skills and Requirements**
- Strong analytical and research skills to gather and interpret technical information from various sources.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of automotive braking systems and related industry is a plus.
