Summary:
Our company is looking for a full-time Class 3 / Class 1 Driver to join our team. Remuda is dedicated to making it easier for contractors and builders in Southern Alberta to source and receive the building materials they need.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate safely and efficiently, multiple types of delivery equipment, some of which require a Class 3 License with air and/or Class 1 for equipment deliveries
- Maintain an excellent and clean driver abstract
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment
- Ensures all assigned deliveries are completed in a timely manner to exceed customer expectations and satisfy company objectives
- Be available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and per request, overtime to complete daily deliveries
- Maintain all products and goods in a safe and efficient manner
- Provide exceptional Customer Service and the ability to think on the spot
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic throughout all assigned tasks
- Work and communicate diligently with all levels of personnel that are part of the process including but not limited to clients, 3rd party contractors, municipal services, and suppliers
- Assist with the preparation of paperwork
- Continually evaluate, assess, and ensure that all work performed meets the company’s high standards of quality workmanship
- Report directly to Operations Manager
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
- A minimum of 5 years of driving experience
- Moffat Experience
- Truss Delivery Experience
- A clean driver abstract, a valid class 3 operators license and/ or class 1, and air certification
- To be physically fit and able to operate equipment, as well as perform manual labor requests
- Ability to analyze and problem-solve alongside teammates and individually
- Demonstrate ability to work in a team and independently, proactively, and take initiative on new initiatives
- Demonstrate ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced changing environment
- Demonstrate proficiency around and on varying pieces of equipment
- Proficient knowledge of Langdon, Chestermere, Strathmore, Calgary, and the surrounding area
- Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a positive appearance so as to not offend customers, clients, or colleagues.
- Maintain and promote the positive image of Remuda by providing courteous and professional service both internally and externally

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
