Sous la responsabilité du gestionaire production pâtissier, le Journalier de Production s’occupe que la cuisson et l’assaisonnement des ingrédients faisant partie des recettes hebdomadaires créées par le chef exécutif tout en respectant les procédures de santé et de sécurité alimentaire. En tant que membre d'une petite équipe en cuisine, le Journalier de Production doit faire preuve d'excellentes compétences en communication, d'une éthique de travail rigoureuse et être capable de gérer le travail sous pression dans un environnement à volume élevé.

**RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Lire les recettes.
- Peser les ingrédients et les verser dans le bon ordre.
- Opérer les machines de production et d’empaquetage.
- Maintenir un poste de travail propre et assaini.
- Agir en conformité avec les procédures et standards de sécurité alimentaire en vigueur (MAPAQ) ainsi que les règles de santé et sécurité au travail.
- Assurer la propreté des lieux et des équipements en tout temps.
- Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes, selon les besoins.

**COMPÉTENCES & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Maitrise du français parlé et écrit. L’anglais est un atout.
- Capacité à travailler dans une chambre froide.
- Capacité d’effectuer plusieurs tâches simultanément et de travailler en équipe.
- Faire preuve d’initiative, de débrouillardise et d’autonomie.
- Bonne forme physique (capacité de manipuler et soulever des charges de 20-25 kg).
- Précision, soucis du détail et un grand sens de l’organisation.

Reporting to the Pastry Production Manager, the Production associate is responsible for the cooking and seasoning of the ingredients in the weekly recipes created by the Executive Chef. While also respecting health and food safety procedures. As a member of a small kitchen team, the Production associate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and be able to handle working under pressure in a high volume environment.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Read recipes.
- Weigh ingredients and pour in the correct order
- Operate machines and packaging machines
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area.
- Act in accordance with the procedures and standards of food safety in force (MAPAQ) as well as the rules of health and safety at work.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the premises and equipment at all times.
- Perform all other related tasks as required.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Fluency in spoken and written French. English is an asset.
- Ability to work in a cold room.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
- Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and autonomy.
- Good physical condition (ability to handle and lift loads of 20-25 kg).
- Precision, attention to detail and great organizational skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $14.25-$16.25 per hour
