Position Summary

Major Job Responsibilities
- Performs regular maintenance and cleaning duties within the facility which may include an Arena, Pool, Gymnasium, Offices, and a variety of multipurpose rooms along with some outdoor areas
- Responds to customer inquiries and maintains ongoing communication with the Facility Supervisor, Facility Operator, and Customer Service staff to maintain a high level of service and efficiency
- Organizes, maintains and cleans bathrooms, change rooms, meeting rooms, lobby and common areas, janitorial and storage rooms
- Provide set ups/clean ups and conversions based on facility programming requirements, responding to additional requests as required
- Completes task lists as assigned by a Supervisor or designate
- Other duties as assigned in accordance with department objectives

Education & Experience
- Completion of Grade10 education
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to work productively in a team environment and independently as required
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
