ABOUT THIS TEAM

Our Global Distribution DC Support functions are part of our greater lululemon Supply Chain organization. The DC Support functions are compromised of the Health and Safety, Facilities and Production Control departments within our North America DCs. Based in the DC and reporting to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, a Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining the physical integrity of the property, including maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Partner with Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to complete scheduled and preventative maintenance.
- Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain inventory of equipment and schedule maintenance.
- Conduct monthly maintenance and safety inspections, responding immediately to emergency situations as they arise.
- Assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, platforms, and other types of material handling equipment.
- Complete daily inspection and cleanup of building perimeter and grounds, including general repairs.
- Timely respond to reports of equipment issues to minimize downtime and impact to the operation.
- As assigned, complete technical training, personal development and team-building exercises.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, general mechanical trade or general contracting.
- Skilled with power tools, ground maintenance equipment, electrical, masonry, plumbing, carpentry, paints, solvents, adhesives and able to operate PIT equipment.
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment
- Flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include working nights, required holidays, some weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime
- Must be available to work any shift, with possible adjusted hours during peak season. Requires minimum of forty hours per work week
