**Job Summary**

**Qualifications**
- University degree or College diploma in Computer Science equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, with significant experience in database migration, consolidation, and upgrade projects.
- Familiarity with modern cloud-based technologies such as modern Microsoft Workplace, analytical tools, and platforms (Azure Data Services, etc.)
- Familiarity with SIS and K-12 Cloud based Software Solutions industry terminology.
- Strong software testing and implementation skills
- Demonstrated initiative and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with Board personnel and members of the public and vendors
- Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community and/or work environment
- Record of satisfactory on-the-job performance while employed by the Peel District School Board

**Additional Skills & Assets**
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Application Server Administration, Web Design, IIS, Linux
- Knowledge of programming principles and comfort with using common development platforms and languages (Oracle-Web interface, Oracle forms and reports, Angular, JDeveloper)
