Rotor Maxx Support is a full service Transport Canada AMO with ratings in Aircraft, Structures, Composites, Avionics, Components, Engines and NDT. We are currently seeking a Structures Apprentice for full time employment. The position will be responsible for carrying out aircraft structural work primarily in a Hangar environment under the direction of the Chief Engineer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out inspections of aircraft structures to determine serviceability or repair requirement under the direction of the Lead Hand
- Complete records of work done and sustain an accurate record system.
- Ensure maintenance is conducted and recorded in accordance with applicable approved manuals, maintenance schedules, applicable standards, practices and specifications.
- Proper use of PPE equipment and recognizing safety as a number one priority
- General Hangar cleanup and organization
- Accepts and completes any other assigned work in a productive manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of secondary school and a certified trades training institution or equivalent.
- AME license S - or in process of completion
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Has ability to read and understand technical manuals and instructions (English), and able to use technical drawings, data and standards.
- Ability to take initiative, take direction and learn quickly
- Multitasking and flexibility abilities
- Physically fit, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as climb, kneel, and work frequently in tight spaces
- Computer knowledge
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills

**Special Requirements**:

- Possesses valid passport.
- Willing to work overtime or unusual shifts, as required.
- Position is Hangar based but applicant must be willing to travel if required.

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour
