Concrete Finisher

Holtzman Construction operating in Parksville BC and surrounding areas is hiring a variety of positions in concrete placing and finishing as well as equipment operating.

Working in both residential and commercial servicing all of Vancouver Island and surrounding islands no 2 days are the same.

Offering overtime, travel, great starting wages and benefits we are looking for laborers new to concrete, apprentices, professionals as well as pump operators.

Subcontractors are welcome to reach out too

Early mornings and sometimes long days.

Must be able to work both self directed and as part of a team.

Valid class 5 an asset.

**Duties**:

- Pour concrete into forms and spread it to the desired thickness.
- Smooth and finish surfaces using hand tools or power tools.
- Create textures and patterns in finished concrete surfaces.
- Repair, renovate, or restore existing concrete structures.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for concrete projects.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role. (Asset)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints. (Asset)
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for concrete work.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques for concrete construction.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
