About the Telfer School of Management

The Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa is located in the heart of Ottawa and is the proud academic home of some 4,300 students,200 faculty members, over 100 staff members, and over 30,000 alumni.

**Position Purpose**:
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Business Development, the incumbent plans, designs and implements marketing strategies for the Telfer School of Management executive programs. The incumbent coordinates social media, actively designs promotional materials for services, programs, and events, and ensures that the branding established for the executive programs and the Telfer School of Management is followed.

**In this role, your responsibilities will include**:
**Production of promotional material**: Identifies needs and expectations regarding Telfer School of Management executive program activities. Creates promotional documents for program activities, such as posters. Provides graphic design services for centre projects. Chooses, designs, orders and establishes distribution parameters for program promotional tools.

**Visual identity and increasing visibility**: Develops a visual identity for executive programs, and occasionally, for major events such as symposiums organized by the Centre for Executive Leadership.

**What you will bring**:
Postsecondary education in marketing, in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

At least one year’s experience in marketing or in similar duties.

Ability to work with minimum supervision, take the initiative, and remain self-motivated.

Proven ability to be diplomatic and tactful.

Organizational skills, with ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.

Creativity and ability to translate an idea from concept to graphic design.

Experience in using various graphic design software.

Bilingualism - French and English (spoken and written).
