Quality Control Technician

**As a Quality Control Technician, You Will**:
- Be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines
- Conduct laboratory and field tests in compliance with prevailing standards and procedures
- Perform field quality control testing (material sampling, compaction & coring)
- Examine the samples provided, document and advise on any discrepancies on tests or field reports
- Ensure that measuring equipment is calibrated
- Participate in activities related to improvement of the quality system
- Other duties as required
**What You'll Bring**:
- Technical knowledge of aggregate and asphalt quality is an asset
- Background of aggregate use in road building, concrete and asphalt production is an asset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to perform in a highly functional team environment
- Basic Computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Maintain G class Driver’s License with clean Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to perform manual labour and list up to 25 kilograms
- Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions
- Willingness to work days, nights and weekend shifts as assigned
