The Web Publisher is responsible for leading the development, publishing, and optimization of web content that aligns with business goals, enhances user experience, and drives engagement. This role blends expertise in content management, SEO, analytics, and UX to ensure the company’s web presence performs effectively and delivers measurable results.

**Performance Objectives**

**Content Management**
- Manage the editing and publishing of website content in alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and optimized for the target audience.
- Serve as the final reviewer before content is published, catching errors or inconsistencies.

**SEO Optimization**
- Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
- Conduct keyword research and provide recommendations for new content opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders to provide regular SEO reporting, insights, and strategies for continual improvement.

**Analytics & Reporting**
- Monitor website performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Generate regular reports and provide actionable insights to enhance user engagement and conversions.

**Collaboration**
- Work closely with marketing, design, development, and IT teams to deliver cohesive and effective web strategies.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.

**UX Enhancements**
- Evaluate and improve website usability, accessibility, and navigation to optimize user satisfaction.
- Collect user feedback and recommend improvements to enhance site performance and user experience.

**Content Strategy Development**
- Support the planning and execution of content strategies that align with campaigns, lead-generation efforts, and overall business goals.

**Technical Maintenance**
- Coordinate with IT and web development teams to ensure the site remains secure, functional, and up to date.

**Compliance & Standards**

Ensure all content adheres to legal requirements, accessibility standards, and internal brand guidelines**
- 3-5 years of experience in web publishing, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Content Management Systems (WordPress preferred; experience using the Elementor theme is an asset).
- Demonstrated expertise in SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience managing web projects, including content updates, SEO initiatives, and UX improvements.
- Experience using Drift or similar website chatbot platforms is an asset.
- Certifications in SEO, analytics, project management, or CMS platforms are an asset.
- **Strategic Thinking**: Ability to align web strategies with broader business goals.

- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is an asset.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., BrightEdge, Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
