Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager - Industrial Projects

The role is to develop business, supplies and combines freight services, information management and added value into integrated transport solutions, together with services involving the transport of heavier or more complicated goods, often on a turn-key basis where cargo is taken ‘door to door’. The purpose is to support customers by offering one partner to solve their project supply chain challenges worldwide, with a focus on the Oil & Gas, Mining, Power, Renewables, Rail, Aid & Relief and Infrastructure markets.

Build and maintain positive relationships with customers; promote customer loyalty. Respond to customer inquiries in compliance with GEODIS policies and procedures. Proactively identify and rectify potential service failures. Provide high quality customer service. Implement policies, processes and procedures and execute compliance as specific to a project/account(s). Ensure the development of customer SOP’s to existing and new business and manage the implementation in cooperation with colleagues, IT and BD.
Oversee key accounts as directed to IP operational functions, IP warehouse, IP warehouse services and in a physical environment (warehouse/office) or remotely as required, IP services and functions to desk operational management, IP site management as required, IP customer relations as warranted.
Identify optimization opportunities within the IP operational department and manage realization in cooperation with the Business Excellence department.
Coordinate the customs clearance of imported goods with the GEODIS Customs department and/or the customer Customs Broker to the import. Arrange the collection and gather and hand-over of freight documents.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

- freight forwarding project: 3 years (required)
