Conduct research and develop tools/templates/standards to support the strategic planning of facilities.
- Support portfolio planners in developing and documenting plans and architectural programs.
- Gather and analyse data.
- Conduct primary research (visits and interviews) for various City of Calgary's facilities to document existing conditions and collect input from site users.
- Perform graphic site planning and test-fit diagrams.
- Prepare memos, reports and presentations as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Enrolled in a degree program related to Facility Management, Real Estate, Architecture, Planning, Finance or Business.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- A beginner level of proficiency with ArcGIS, and intermediate level of proficiency with CAD and Archibus, is an asset.
- You will have demonstrated positive customer service attitudes and behaviors with a desire to learn and contribute to a dynamic new initiative.
- Success in this role requires excellent strategic thinking, results orientation, accountability, and strong communication skills.

**Pre-Employment Requirements**
- Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2025.
- If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Compensation: $28.88 per hour (2025 rates)
Days of Work: This position works a 5 day
- work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.
- Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
