We are recruiting for a full-time **Customer Service Specialist** for our **Burquitlam** Branch. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will deliver exceptional customer service to support and help our members with their product and service needs.
**What you'll do**:
- Greet our members, answer inquiries and/or their concerns and look for opportunities to develop and build relationships with our members.
- Proactively seek opportunities to demonstrate our value proposition and recommend services and solutions.
- Refer members to account managers and business partners and collaborate to give them a great customer experience.
- Handle transactions, open personal and business profiles, demand accounts, term deposits, ATM cards, and other banking products and services.
- Perform cash desk duties, record your sales and service activity and assist with branch opening and closing processes.
- Participate in team meetings and support and/or participate in our Prospera community initiatives.
**What you bring**:
- Proven experience in a frontline Customer Service role.
- Excellent relationship-building and experience working in a team environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a quick learner.
- Be self-motivated and tech savvy.
- Knowledge of retail lending and financial services experience (an asset).
- Have an interest in contributing to your local community.
