**Qualifications/Requirements**
- Minimum 3-5 years’ bookkeeping experience preferably in a similar role.
- In-depth understanding of Canadian corporate tax returns, CRA regulations, and bookkeeping principles
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO), QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Wagepoint.
- Knowledge in Hubdoc, Wagepoint, Paypal, Stripe and Shopify
- Advanced knowledge and experience in working with Excel Pivot tables, V-look-up and Sum if formulas.
- Knowledge in cash-flow projections, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Experience in Government filings, HST, Payroll, Corporate Instalments, EHT and WSIB.
- Access to transportation for off-site client visits.
- A degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
**Experience Required**
- Reconcile prior-year-end work and post year-end adjustments on accounting software.
- Reconcile CRA reports for payroll, HST, and corporate tax and accounting for any interests and penalties to be posted
- Making necessary journal adjustments for accruals for income, expenses
- Reconciling intercompany transactions and aligning with related companies’ books and general ledger.
- Extract information from Canadian corporate tax returns and Caseware files.
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual GST returns with CRA.
- Manage Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables and matching receipts and payments to open invoices..
- Handle multi-currency transactions and foreign exchange differences.
- Booking foreign exchange differences and reconciling conversions to CAD balances.
- Analyze income and expenses, investigate variances, and reallocate transactions to correct GL accounts.
- Prepare year-end summary reports and support schedules for Caseware files.
- Posting bank feeds and creating QBO rules for auto-posting.
- Reconciling bank and credit card balances to statements.
- Reviewing shareholder accounts and analyzing personal and business expenses.
- Analyzing income and expenses from prior periods and investigating variances.
- Reconciling payroll records with T4 year-end summary amounts.
- Aligning CPP and EI with CRA records
- Reviewing investment statements and preparing spreadsheets for tracking movements.
- Recording investment income and reconciling investment accounts.
**Optional**
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days at home.

**Salary**: $85,000-$90,000, based on experience. Benefit plan included.
