Estimator/project Coordinator

Responsibilities:

- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other relevant material to provide accurate quantity take-offs.
- Preparation of detailed cost estimates utilizing past experience and company costing history.
- Draft and solicit RFP from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Draft and submit bid proposals to clients.
- Liaise with construction personnel in creation and weekly review of project schedule and deliverables.
- Assist in creation of project billing and review of progress.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to ensure scope of work is understood.
- Preform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Project Management, or similar.
- Proficiency with MS excel, word, outlook, and project.
- InSite Elevation, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD software experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, strong ability to multi-task.
- Positive team player with the ability to work under little supervision.
- Valid G License with clean drivers abstract and reliable transportation.

Hours of Work:

- Monday through Thursday - 8AM to 5PM
- Friday - 8AM to 3PM

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Strathroy, ON N7G 3H8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
