**Full Job Description**

ASG Excavating Inc. is a privately owned heavy civil construction company based out of Strathroy, ON. servicing all surrounding areas in the installation of sewers, water mains, road works-recon and residential foundation digs & services. We are currently looking for a Project Manager / Estimator who is an energetic individual with a good attitude to be a valued member of our team and strive for the continual growth and success of ASG Excavating Inc.

**Typical responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**:

- Contract review and estimating including budgets, completion and submission of tender packages and project management for the duration of said projects.
- Following up with project specific items and monitoring project budgets through effective job costing.
- Coordinating daily activities, ordering materials, and measuring job production and subcontractors' assuring project schedules are met.
- Producing and submitting Project scope schedules and commissioning plans to customer.
- Overseeing project completion, performing necessary duties which may include the writing of subcontracts and change orders, purchasing materials, obtaining permits and insurance, conducting meetings with staff and clients, monitoring work progress and safety etc.
- Generate and submit monthly pay certification reports.
- Facility close-out of project.
- Assigned task as required.

**Required Work Experience, Education & Skills**:

- 3+ years of proven project management / estimating success in complex projects.
- Sound Technical capabilities, organizational skills and problem solving.
- Proficient CAD, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project
- Good understanding of plan reading and specifications
- Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or Relevant work Experience
- Sound business and economic-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to create budgets and make informed and logical decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently, and work in a team environment.

**Salary**: To Be negotiated based on experience / skill set.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
