This Maternity Leave MOA position requires the full range of MOA duties. This is a part time position, 4 days a week, 32hours a week for 1 year starting March 31, 2025. The Oval A Team has 4 other MOAs - 3 Full time and 1 Part time.


**What you will be doing**:

- Administrative duties - answer calls and greet patients in a helpful, respectful, and efficient manner, schedule appointments, manage referrals, result management and handle billing.
- Lab Duties - include collecting and preparing laboratory specimens or perform basic laboratory tests on the premises, dispose of contaminated supplies, and sterilize medical instruments.
- Patient Care duties - Coordinate patient care through the clinic: checking in, prepping, escorting to exam rooms, preparing exam or treatment rooms, answering questions, providing post-appointment service, monitoring the waiting room.
- General duties - To ensure to keep patient information confidential and secure at all times. Perform all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required by clinic management

- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A Team Player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- Ability to analyze, problem-solve and take the initiative.
- Open and accountable
- Ability to work varying shift patterns as needed by the clinic (including evenings and weekends)
- Experience as an MOA or MOA programs certification is an asset.
- Experience with EMR system OSCAR and a good understanding of MSP billing are assets.
