**BOMImed Inc.**, a Winnipeg-based medical device manufacturer and distributor, is looking for a highly motivated, hard-working, team-oriented individual to join our warehouse team. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, daytime position.

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the daily operations related to the shipping and receiving of goods. This role ensures that shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, coordinates international and domestic shipments, manages documentation, and ensures inventory is properly accounted for. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator also addresses issues such as damaged goods, incorrect shipments, and discrepancies in carrier charges. They will work closely with internal teams and couriers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries while also performing hands-on warehouse tasks.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Organize and maintain inventory/product in the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct ongoing cycle counts
- Loading and unloading material with the use of a forklift or pallet jack
- Order picking and packaging
- Shipping and receiving of product
- Inspect and verify content received
- Identify damaged, lost or missing product and handle applicable documentation
- Coordinate international shipments, including preparing commercial invoices, and assisting with harmonized codes and customs documentation
- Verify discrepancies and handling claims for outgoing shipments
- Maintaining and updating documentation for warehouse processes
- General warehouse duties - cleaning, sweeping, garbage, recycling, etc.
- 80% warehouse duties, 20% office/administrative duties

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or a related field required
- 2+ years of forklift experience preferred, certification is an asset, but not required
- Experience entering data into warehouse data system
- Post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain management is an asset, but not required

**Skills Required**:

- Excellent communication, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with multiple departments, capable of working independently and in a team environment
- Ability to multitask, problem solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and the ability to lift or move heavy objects
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations, including commercial invoices and harmonized codes
- Proficiency with shipping software (e.g., FedEx, UPS)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
