We are currently seeking a **Project** **Manager** to join our team In this role you would be actively involved with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), which includes change management for assigned programs, and assist with continues improvement for all products and processes. We are located at **8271 Keele Street, Concord, Ontario** **Shift Available**: - **Day **_(8:00 am to 4:30pm) **Reporting to**: Quality Manager **Responsibilities**: - Interact with Program Manager as appropriate to ensure manufacturability and accurate GD&T/drawings - Coordinate, execute, document, and report process capability studies leading to the development of a stable capable process at time of PPAP - Establish adequate Quality Controls for Special Characteristics or Key Characteristics features of a product or parameters of a process, which still risk potential failure - Performing Stability and Capability studies on special characteristics to understand the variation present and predict future performance with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Capability (PPK and CPK) - Coordinate and create the PPAP documentation package - Participate in on-site launch support at the customer manufacturing location as required - Responsible for ECN approval participation - Champion the investigation of concerns or complaints reported by the customer in order to identify and correct quality systems failures using the NCR Process to completion and sign off - Travel to Customer as required to investigate concerns or complaints - Continually observe and evaluate the manufacturing process with the goal of identifying opportunities to prevent failures or non-conformance through lean manufacturing management. - Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives - Ensure safe storage of approved master samples, and the creation and distribution of authorized surrogate master samples - Assist and train other Quality and Production personnel in the use of equipment and test methods as per the work instruction - Ensure that all specifications and requirements are documented in the appropriate inspection documents through the Document control process - Monitor Project progress and set deadlines based on customer expectations. - Establish and maintain relationships with customers and third parties/vendors. - Monitor project timelines and evaluate Project performance based on scope and schedule. **Requirements and Qualifications** - University degree (Qulaity) or at least 5 years of work experience - Training in Quality Assurance principles - 3-5 years related experience in Quality Assurance - 3-5 year "hands on" experience in automotive part metal stampings - Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO 9001 - GD&T Knowledge required - CQE accreditation an asset - Experience in a Quality/Advance Product Planning role in a manufacturing environment - Experience in automotive industry an asset **Compensation and Benefits** **Pay Rate**: Competitive Salary based on experience **Benefits**: Extended Health and Dental Benefits after 3 months of employment - **(Includes prescription drugs, paramedical services, and vision care)**_ **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Paid time off - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay **Experience**: - automotive: 1 year (preferred) - stamping: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: One location
