**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, The **Manager of Operational Standards** serves as a key brand representative for Pür and Simple, conducting detailed operational audits (ADOs) on franchise restaurants to ensure adherence to Pür & Simple standards. This role is responsible for auditing Pür and Simple franchise Partners across multiple operational pillars, including hospitality, culinary excellence, cleanliness & repair, food safety, and regulatory compliance. The Manager of Operational Standards will assess restaurant performance, provide coaching, and communicate with Franchise Partners, Management Teams, and Staff Members to ensure continuous improvement and uphold the integrity of the brand.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Conduct Operational Audits (ADO)**:
Perform regular and detailed operational audits of Pür and Simple franchise locations to assess performance in key areas.
- **Coaching & Development**:
Provide feedback and coaching to franchisees and their management teams after audits, focusing on areas of improvement. Offer actionable guidance and support to help franchisees achieve operational excellence.
- **Follow-Up Communication**:
After each audit, send detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for improvement. Maintain ongoing communication with franchisees to track their progress and offer support as needed.
- **Brand Representation**:
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, embodying the Pür and Simple brand's values and operational standards during all interactions with franchisees, staff, and other stakeholders.
- **Operational Excellence**:
Continuously monitor and evaluate franchisee compliance with Pür and Simple's operational standards and best practices. Ensure the consistent delivery of quality and service across all franchise locations.
- **New Store Opening Support**:
Occasionally, provide operational support during the opening of new Pür and Simple locations. This may include assisting with pre-opening operational readiness checks, ensuring the store meets Pür and Simple’s operational standards, and supporting the training of new staff and franchisees to ensure a successful launch.
- **Travel**:
Travel to franchise locations across the country to conduct audits and support operational improvements. The Manager of Operational Standards is expected to manage travel arrangements and expenses in line with company budget constraints and policies.
- **Expense Management**:
Adhere to Pür and Simple’s travel and expense guidelines, ensuring that all travel-related costs (flights, accommodations, meals, etc.) remain within the approved budget. Submit accurate and timely expense reports and receipts as per company protocols.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:
Maintain detailed records of all audits, assessments, communications, and follow-up actions. Provide regular reports to senior leadership regarding audit results and trends across the franchise system.
- **Collaboration**:
Work closely with the Operations, Training, and Franchise Support teams to ensure consistency in operations, training, and compliance across all franchise locations
- **Independent Work**: make proper decisions that align with the Pür and Simple brand interests (Expenses, Travel Frequency, in restaurant conduct, etc.).
**Skills and Desired Profile**:
- 3-5 years full service franchise restaurant environment or other related experience.
- Ability to communicate results in a effective manner with Franchise Partners
- Ability to travel outside of the province, when required.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with Franchise Partners and internal partners.
- Strong analytical skills along with the ability to manage priorities and multiple projects in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong trouble shooter with the ability to see implications and provide creative solutions and recommendations.
- Honesty, integrity and an ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Strong organizational and time management skills using Outlook or other scheduling programs.
