**GaiJin Izakaya hiring Line Cook**

Job Summary
- Setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces etc.)
- Cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Maintain health standards for raw and finished products
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

**Requirements**:

- Must Speak, Read, Understand Basic English
- Knife skills is required
- Must be able to multi-task
- Willingness to learn
- Adaptability
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work as a team
- at least 3 years experience in Line cook experience, an asset if experienced/knowledge in Sushi/Japanese restaurant

**Starting wage would all depend on previous work experience

Job Type Full time & Part time position

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $14.15 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Line Cook: 3 years (required)
- Japanese cuisine: 3 years (preferred)
