**PROJECT ESTIMATOR**

**Responsibilities**:
The Project Estimator is primarily responsible for creating quotes for standard and custom projects based on client requirements. This will include assisting in co-ordinating all internal and external documentation relating to our clients’ projects. The role will also require working directly with internal Engineering and Design teams to confirm key details of potential and active projects.
- Organize bid documents, quotes, engineering drawings, and other information required for potential and active projects.
- Prepare pricing estimates and quotations directly to clients and sales reps.
- Ensure internal departments are provided with necessary information to maintain accurate and timely deliverables back to the client.
- Work with internal Engineering and Design departments to help determine solutions to client requests.
- Work with internal and external sales reps to relay critical information in a timely and professional manner to ensure projects are successful.
- Communicate directly with clients to provide required information in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist Customer Service with additional functions related to the projects, such as providing samples, requesting drawings, and providing project scheduling updates.
- Actively participate in weekly client services meetings.
- Perform additional assignments per management’s direction.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Organization skills and attention to detail.
- Able to clearly communicate and collaborate verbally and in writing with multiple audiences in design, engineering, sales, and client environments.
- Able to multi-task, working on multiple projects concurrently.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in Microsoft Business Central an asset.
- Ability to read and understand Architectural & Design Drawings and Specifications an asset.
- Knowledge of CAD-based programs such as AutoCad an asset.
- Knowledge of acoustic materials an asset.
- Basic French language skills (verbal and written) considered an asset.

**Experience**:

- Customer Service experience: 2 years minimum.
- Post secondary education in a related field is preferred (architecture, construction, project management)
- Experience in lieu of formal education will be considered.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: One location
