This position is a **combination Route Scheduler and Driver/Collector role**. It is a steady day shift. No evenings or weekends, Friday afternoons off. Starts early morning (6:30am)
**Route Scheduler Responsibilities**
- Creates optimum daily routes for drivers (using maps and daily workload)
- Determines the most efficient way to add new properties to the schedule, or to move current properties to a different day
- Schedules prepaid large items or special pickups
- Allocates drivers to vehicles and vehicles to specific routes
- Monitors Time Station App to manage employee hours, absences
**Driver/Collector Responsibilities**
- Drives/operates Haul-All truck
- Dumps garbage and recycling bins, and collects bags at curbs of townhouses (includes throwing bags into truck)
- Takes to local transfer stations or landfill sites in an efficient and appropriate manner; includes removal of bulk items
- Cleans up, when required
- Follows a designated route; routes change daily
- Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, heavy lifting (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)

**Requirements**:
- G Driver's Licence
- Must have 5-year clean driver’s extract
- Steel-toed boots
- Working cell phone for daily communications
