**Job Description**:
As the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of CHL, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with internal and external regulations. You will work closely with the Partners and other key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that drive the firm's growth and success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including human resources, finance, IT, facilities, and administrative functions.
- Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and workflows to ensure compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards.
- Manage budgeting, financial planning, and reporting processes.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to streamline operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of administrative and support staff.
- Collaborate with lawyers to support business development initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to anticipate potential impacts on operations.
- Serve as a key advisor to the Partnership and other senior leaders on operational matters.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field; MBA or JD preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior management role within a law firm or professional services organization.
- Strong understanding of legal operations, including billing, collections, and client management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management.
- Knowledge of relevant software and technology solutions for law firms.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity.

**Benefits**:
Salary commensurate with experience (100k-150k), a generous benefit program and 3 weeks vacation.
