**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organization's ongoing operations and procedures. As the COO, you will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of the business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Leadership**:

- Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, establishing policies that promote company culture and vision.
- **Team Management and Development**:

- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.).
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
- **Performance Metrics**:

- Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance.
- **Financial Management**:

- Manage the company’s financial and budgetary activities.
- Analyze financial reports, forecast future performance, and act to maximize return on investment.
- **Stakeholder Relations**:

- Assist CEO in fundraising ventures.
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.).
- **Risk Management**:

- Manage and mitigate risks to the company by identifying potential threats and creating strategies to prevent and manage them.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer or relevant role.
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.

Pay: $120,000.00-$200,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Vancouver, BC V5X 0B1
