**Terms of Reference for Sales & Marketing Assistant**

**SilviaFindings, Canada**

**Background**

SilviaFindings is a small business based in Richmond BC. We sell high quality sterling silver and gold findings to jewellery artisans - wholesale and retail. We also offer a complete range of custom-made jewellery services, from design assistance through to production. We exhibit and sell our products at trade shows as well as online through our SilviaFindings websites, various marketplaces, and social media platforms.

**Main Tasks**

The Sales & Marketing Assistant tasks focus on the following main areas:
**Sales & Customer Service**
- Welcoming customers and coordinating scheduled appointments
- Assisting in customer services
- Providing support with inventory activities including inventory maintenance
- Processing and shipping orders including following up on online orders
- Assisting other team members in various administrative projects when necessary
- Participating in various trade shows

**Marketing**
- Providing support with marketing activities (blog, photos, videos)
- Sharing best practices and marketing ideas and tactics with the team
- Assisting in analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competition
- Assisting in collecting and reporting on data
- Posting blog content, photos and videos on social media platforms and websites
- Assisting in the analysis of the website and social media metrics

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Jewellery industry background
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Relevant and proven online and offline sales experience in a similar industry
- Relevant and proven experience in traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools
- Be a team player and self-starter
- Willing to work on the weekends when we have trade show events
- Work independently under mínimal supervision
- Degree in sales, marketing, advertising, or communications

References required.

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Customers are encouraged to wear a face mask when visiting the office/showroom to protect our staff and surfaces are sanitised regularly.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond, BC V6V 2K3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
