**About the Role**

As the Controller, you will support the Credit Union’s Finance function by performing a variety of tasks including:

- Overseeing all day-to-day accounting and financial functions
- Performing financial analysis to aid in decision making
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and year end reports and financial statements
- Overseeing internal control activities
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and financial reporting standards
- Assisting in the budgeting process
- Liaising with external auditors, regulators, and senior management
- Providing mentorship and guidance for junior finance department team members
- Identifying and implementing efficiencies to improve financial and internal control processes
- A CPA designation
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and IFRS
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Credit Union products and services is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
