Description:
The Care Manager fulfills a leadership role in Allied Health and reports directly to the Pediatric Community Rehabilitation Program Manager. This position is responsible and accountable for providing the direction, team leadership and organization for the Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech Language Pathologists who provide services to children and youth. The position requires effective communication with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, proven ability to collaborate and foster partnerships, family/client centered focus, commitment to providing quality services, demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, the ability to inspire and build confident in others, ability to manage change, and manage human and physical resources.

**Required Qualifications**:
A minimum of Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy or a related health discipline. Master’s degree in Health Administration or equivalencies of education and experience will be considered. Active membership in good standing within profession. Previous leadership experience in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity A clear pattern of professional and personal development.

In addition, the incumbent will possess a demonstrated record of accomplishment in the following areas: Effective communicator with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to collaborate, foster partnerships to achieve organizational goals. Family/client centered focused orientation. A commitment to providing quality services.
