Are you ProServe certified with 1+ years experience, and love being part of a supportive team? We're Marda Loop Brewing, and we're looking to expand our already incredible team with some hosts and serving assistants

As Host/Serving Assistant, you are responsible for informing customers on beer and
food menu items, because #knowledgeispower You will accurately order and serve craft beer, beverages and food items and related customer service brewhouse duties while executing duties according to policy and procedure, safety requirements, and best practice.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate commitment, passion and communication skills to maximize customer satisfaction
and provide an entertaining craft brewery experience
- Interact with customers to provide service and promote the Marda Loop Brewing culture
- Demonstrate willingness/enjoyment to attend to the needs of others
- Maintain professional composure and ability to work under pressure regardless of the situation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding attention to detail - both personal grooming/appearance and in properly
identifying customers’ needs and demeanour to maximize their experience
- Keep up to date with industry trends and developments
- Participate in various events and festivals related to the promotion of Marda Loop Brewing
- Support other duties and responsibilities as directed

Qualifications and Experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older and ProServe Certified
- Minimum of one year customer service experience (brewery/bar strongly preferred)
- Able to memorize and explain a dynamic beer and food menu to customers
- Ability to work safely and in compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Passion for craft beer and appreciation for craft beer culture
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team and to think critically and self-motivate
- Commitment to being engaged in the community, giving back and being responsible

Key Core Competencies
- Technical Skills: Demonstrates technical competence and knowledge of beer production and
customer service, along with knowledge of craft beer.
- Initiative: Superior work organization and time management skills with a strong focus on customer service and continuously improving processes. Strong ability to multi-task and adapt to a changing environment.
- Teamwork: Builds team capacity by using excellent communication skills and maintaining a good working relationship with the entire Marda Loop Brewing team.

Varying shift schedules, including; days, afternoons, evenings and/or weekends, as production demands. We are specifically looking for employees who can work day shifts Monday-Friday.
