**About Cloverdale Robotics Learning.**
At Cloverdale Robotics, we bring cutting-edge educational robots, industry processes, and the best curriculum from around the world to Canada for kids aged 6 to 13. We pride ourselves on creating the best robotics and technology education program for school students in Canada Currently, we provide robotics, coding, and digital arts education to elementary and middle school students in more than 50 public and private schools. We also have other product development and R&D projects ongoing in parallel.

**Part-Time Teacher Role**
An exceptional opportunity awaits an experienced educator to guide the next generation in the dynamic realm of STEM. We will train to teach visual coding and digital arts and provide necessary teaching aids etc. As part of this role, you'll travel to your chosen schools in Surrey, BC, delivering these sessions. Upon assignment to a specific school or location, you'll become a teacher there and build a long-term relationship with the location and parents. Additionally, you'll have the flexibility to set your preferred days and hours, with daily sessions lasting 2-3 hours in the afternoon. Schedules are primarily established at the start of the year, based on mutual discussion and convenience, requiring mínimal monthly adjustments. **Hours & Flexibility**:

- Weekdays (Monday to Friday) any number of days you choose: Choose any or all days. 2.5 to 3 hours in the afternoon.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Mandatory: Minimum 2 years of experience working with elementary/middle school-aged children in Canada or US. As teacher/instructor/camp counsellors etc.
- BC teaching certification is a great asset (but not mandatory).
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to meet school goals and vision.
- Ability to build strong professional relationships with students, parents, and staff.

**Training**
- We will provide training required.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Teach a class of 12 to 20 students using our curriculum.
- Be punctual.
- Successfully complete the training - go through the curriculum and learn it. We provide in-person training too.
- If required, transport required hardware from/to office and assigned school (Transportation time and travel expenses covered).
- Safe custody and return of equipment.
- Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow.
- Provide constructive feedback to parents and management after the day’s classes.
- Prepare term reports for students.

**Other Requirements**:

- Preferable: Valid Driver’s License & Own transportation (Car).

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
