** Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Manager, Transfer & Applicant Services, the incumbent coordinates the transfer student support services and ensures mechanisms are in place for transfer credit and/or transfer experience assessment. The incumbent organizes the implementation process of pathways and articulation agreements. In addition, they support the development of Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) policies, procedures, and processes that are clear, efficient, in compliance with regulatory requirements, and align with the college’s policies and procedures. The incumbent collaborates with academic areas and other departments to ensure faculty and students receive consistent and timely support.

** Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with students and academic staff (faculty, coordinators, AD/Deans) to provide guidance on CPL processes, services, and pathways.
- Coordinating transfer student support services college-wide.
- Coordinating, reviewing, and providing recommendations on the transfer credit and Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) processes
- Providing recommendations and guidance to CPL staff to ensure efficient and accurate entry of transfer credits and PLARs.
- Liaising with Admissions to ensure advanced standing applicants are admitted to the correct entry term.
- Liaising with the International Department to analyze and review pathways to increase the enrolment of incoming students.
- Coordinating the approval and entry of all credit transfers that are approved through Ontario Publicly Assisted Institutions (OPA) into the ONCAT provincial database.
- Ensuring proper identification of all OPA institutions in the student information system (banner) for enrolment audit purposes.
- Monitoring, updating, and posting of transfer-in and transfer-out articulation agreements on the transfer articulation SIS module, website, and ONTransfer platform to maintain currency and accessibility.
- Coordinating with UPC for the renewal or implementation of new articulation agreements.
- Maintaining an up-to-date listing of accredited institutions with whom we have granted a transfer credit, including international institutions of higher education in collaboration with UPC.
- Facilitating incoming, outgoing, and language proficiency transfer agreements
- Serves as a resource for academic areas seeking to establish new transfer agreements.
- Coordinating systems maintenance and enhancements with vendor, including testing to ensure functionality and effectiveness.
- CPL systems include the Transfer Credit System (TCS), Transfer Experience System (TES), Transfer Articulation System (TAS), and the Transfer Equivalency Tool (TET)
- Administering the established information security and roles structure for CPL systems to uphold security, integrity, and confidentiality, including defining and assigning user roles as necessary.
- Maintaining and updating course equivalencies in the Student Information System (SIS) and ensuring accuracy in the Transfer Equivalency Tool (TE)
- Designing and delivering user training modules and sessions for students and faculty on CPL systems and the petition process
- Creating user guides, training materials in various formats, and demonstrations of CPL systems and workflows for staff, students, and faculty
- Traveling to different campuses to provide credit transfer information to all students and/or faculty/staff as required.
- Ensuring accurate assessment of fees and maintenance of academic records for funding purposes through enrolment audit
