We are actively looking for a Medical Terminology Instructor to join our Academic Department for evenings. The Medical Terminology Instructor will work closely with the Academic team under the supervision of the Academic Manager and teach Medical Terminology and/or Medical Office Administration Program Modules.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Teach, train, and provide guidance and support for the students.
- Update course materials and, participate in curriculum review, provide improvements of the curriculum.
- Ensure assessment is done fairly and accurately.
- Maintain grading and attendance reports and other course documentation.
- Provide feedback and support to students.
- Work with students that are having difficulties to improve their understanding of course material.
- Maintain strong relationships within the industry and help students to be always updated on the latest trends.
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the college.
- Collaborate with other instructional and academic team members.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 3+ years of full-time practice experience or the equivalent of part-time experience in the medical office or as a medical practitioner
- Diploma and/or Degree in Medicine or similar
- Excellent knowledge of Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy.
- Proficiency with Google Classroom is an asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Demonstrated time-management skills.
- Experience teaching in an educational institution is an asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Expected hours: 20 per week
