If you share our values and would like to work with skilled professionals, Armour is presently seeking a **Residential Maintenance Technician**.** operations and maintenance of building systems and mechanical equipment across a designated area of the portfolio. They will be physically comfortable completing repairs and maintenance work and will be required to undertake unit maintenance when tenants vacate. **As Residential Maintenance Technician, you’ll be**: - Responding to fire alarms, intrusion alarms, electrical failures, water leaks, property damage etc. - Recording mechanical, electrical and water readings and on occasion resetting a building system when - requested by the Employer. - Ensure cleanliness of the building is upkept - Responsible for general presentation and maintaining the development in a first-class manner, - including ensuring building safety, using their own judgement or as directed by Employer. - Attending to tenant and guest inquiries and maintenance requests. - Coordinating, reviewing and managing of parking, parking allocation, enforcement and revenue - collecting as required. - Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient completion of duties. - Providing excellent customer service by efficiently responding to tenant concerns. - Investigating, diagnosing and repairing general maintenance issues as required. - Conducting daily building inspections to ensure building systems are operating, no safety hazards are - evident, and the site is clean. - Performing required preventative maintenance activities as assigned. - Working with subcontractors to maintain key building systems - elevators, fire alarms, sprinklers, etc. - Such other similar or related duties as may be required from time to time. **What we’re looking for**: - Previous customer service experience is considered an asset. - Experience working in residential environments is considered an asset. reports. - Responding to other residential related maintenance requests as required. - Willing to work with flexibility in schedule to meet business needs. - Experience maintaining building infrastructure - doors, windows, plumbing, etc. - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail - Effective organizational and time management skills with a focus on achieving deadlines - Prior experience in the Maintenance Technician field is considered an asset **Physical Requirements**: - Lift 50lbs individually - Lifting >50lbs with another person(s) - Standing and walking for extended periods of time - Repetitive bending - Climbing / work from ladders - Working overhead - Crouching / kneeling for extended periods of time **What's in it for you?** - Comprehensive Health and Dental Benefits - Employer RRSP plan - Employee Assistance Program - Continuing education support - Discounts at selected Freehand restaurants - On-site fitness facilities - Opportunity for internal career growth - Working along side a collaborative team of likeminded individuals As Armour Group is a family organization, we value our employees and their well-being**.**If you would like to join an organization at which you can have **work life balance, career growth, long term job stability, and an** **opportunity to positively contribute to the Maritimes**, this position may be for you Armour Group Limited is an equal opportunity employer.
