IT Security Administrator

This individual is required to work well within a dynamic team environment, be a self-motivated learner who has exceptional organizational skills, experience in small-to-medium size organization and an excellent working knowledge in many technical areas. This person will be responsible to help manage and maintain the technical relationship with our Security Operation Center (SOC) Partner. He will also have to advise the technical teams for the maintenance of its environments, vulnerability, and follow-up to improve company's security posture.
**Responsibilities**:
- Participate actively in the security program initiatives by helping to develop, implement and document required controls as well as monitor and report on their continuous security and risk management effectiveness.
- Act as liaison with external partners, vendors including internal partners / customers, when required.
- Support and Participate to the Security Incident Responses in collaboration with our partner.
- Understand potential and emerging information security threats and vulnerabilities and communicate this information to appropriate team members throughout the Company on a timely basis.
- Advise and collaborate to implement SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Asset Management, Access Management, Encryption, Network Security processes and potential solutions.
- Collaborate and advise IT, project teams and all other business groups on the definition and implementation of IT security, privacy and compliance controls to meet security best practices.
- Collaborate with SOC to remediate technical security issues, execute improvements and achieve pragmatic and measurable objectives.
- Monitor information security trends related to expertise area and evolving technologies and keep the security team informed about related information security issues
- Partner with relevant technical groups to develop and document security technical framework for projects and establish Platform/infrastructure Threat modelling technology and processes.
- Monitor & advise on L3 issues related to system performance, hardware, software and networking.
- Peripheral responsibilities:
- Manage Windows and Linux servers for infrastructure, user services, and production network.
- Support of internet facing infrastructure (HTTPS, DNS, SMTP, FTP)
- Managing Servers/SAN/Cluster/NAS/Switch/Routers/VMs
- Managing software VM virtual servers and clustering, shared storage
- Managing of Microsoft 365 admin center, Exchange admin center, Teams admin center, SharePoint admin center, Endpoint Manager, Security Compliance, Azure
- Managing of Microsoft Active Directory.
- Support for local (HQ) issues as well as some remote branch support
- Back up architecture and disaster recovery planning
- Manage certificates and load balancers for company services.
- Manage Local virtualization platform (ESXi/XenCenter/Proxmox) and Online virtualization platform (Azure/ AWS) familiar with management UI and related tools (Cloud PowerShell)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience within IT Security and systems management
- Strong skills for the security of IT infrastructure/networks
- Security Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, GIAC an asset.
- Experience in installing or managing multiple types of security solutions.
- Strong experience with complex system implementation and organizational processes with a strong passion for learning new skills and technologies.
- Experience collaborating on business-critical projects and requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and related Internet Protocols
- Advanced understanding of IT architectures and technologies
- Excellent experience with Zabbix monitoring systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, verbal and written.
- Excellent skills at writing documentation and diagrams
- Good English written and spoken a must.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
