This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family-oriented company that is ever-growing. This position is located 10 minutes east Cross Iron Mills, 20 minutes from Airdrie and Northwest Calgary.

The **Project Accounting Analyst **will report to the Senior Accountant. They will perform a variety of administrative tasks in support of the Project Manager and Senior Accountant. Using advanced computer skills and strong organizational abilities, the Project Accountant Administrator assists in the effective day-to-day operations of the organization through monitoring costs to ensure profitability on projects.

**Specific Duties Include (but are not limited to)**:

- Provide support to the project team through day-to-day coordination of ongoing projects and related project requirements including purchase orders, material tracking and project reports.
- Effectively interface with internal project stakeholders, project managers, accounting, and estimating.
- Review and submit timesheets for accuracy
- Provide income and cost analysis
- Generate invoices as required and collaborate internally with Accounts Receivable and Payable.
- Support the budget development processes by developing worksheets, querying administrators about needs and consolidating proposals
- Evaluate financial data and compile financial evidence for decision makers within the company
- Maintain all project documents - file structure management
- Ensure timely delivery of project data to customers and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate procurement records
- Identify material requirements and procurement, and issue Purchase Orders
- Monitor progress of the project and provide progress reports.
- Analyze risks, identify opportunities, and address potential issues on projects.
- Prepare plans, documents, letters, and spreadsheets for tracking project information.
- Assist with construction handover packages and close out documentation

**Who You Are**:

- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and Google Suites
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization and with customers
- Accuracy and attention to detail while working under tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts
- 1-3 years previous experience is an asset
- High school diploma minimum schooling qualification, however post-secondary education in a related field is preferred

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
