**Your Role as Baker**

**What Your Day Looks Like**- Work as part of a small team to bake each morning, following carefully crafted recipes
- Work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and assist with sales as needed to contribute to a great customer experience
- Be responsible for reading production schedules and recipes, measuring and mixing ingredients, molding and shaping dough, and processing everything through the ovens

- You should be willing to work overnight or early morning shifts, as a COBS Bread baker starts work between midnight and 4am
- You can work independently or as part of a small team
- You have pride in what COBS offers the community
- You have a great attitude and good organizational skills
- Maintain Health and Safety, Food Safety (HACCP) standards while upholding COBS Bread brand standards
- Food safe and Basic First Aid certifications are an asset
- Provide support to the whole bakery team, demonstrate team work and foster good working relationships
- Provide delightful customer service
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Able to multi-task and flexible to work in different stations
- **_Prior experience of working at COBS or similar fast paced bakery environment is an asset_**

**Physical Requirements**- Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg
- Frequent turning and reaching
- Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending
- Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping
