**FORKLIFT OPERATOR / MATERIAL HANDLER**

**The Opportunity**:
MTE Logistix Group of Companies is looking for two (2) **Forklift Operator / Material Handler(s)** to join our Porter Warehousing and Distribution teams. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this position must be forklift certified, and helps with order fulfillment, warehouse operations, and maintains strict accuracy when working with customer requests.

**About you**:
We are looking for skilled warehouse professionals who are **forklift certified and experienced** and can expertly handle our client's goods with care and precision. This is a great chance to get your career started in a role that is dynamic and rewarding. Training is provided for this position, including warehouse material handling equipment certification.

**What will you do?**
- Operate warehouse material handling equipment
- Work from an order sheet to build loads for transport
- Exhibit strict attention to detail and maintain order accuracy
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
- Ensure all paperwork is completed to standard
- Confirm pallets/loads are built correctly
- Able to work in ambient and refrigerated work environments
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area

**What you need to succeed**
- **Must-haves**_
- **Certified with **+2 years’ experience operating an electric _sit-down forklift_
- +2 years’ experience operating a _ride-on electric power jack_
- +2 years’ experience operating a _reach truck_
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Warehouse experience including order picking and stacking products
- **Nice to have**_
- Third Party Logistics (3PL) experience
- +1-year experience using _RF scanners_

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
