**Job Requirements**

This position requires an applicant who is able to mainly work on weekends, and occasionally during the week (week day hours are mínimal and flexible).

This job is perfect for someone who is interested in early childhood education or anything related to child and youth care.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Answer all calls in a warm, professional, polite, and courteous manner. Deal with inquiries about our programs, services and pricing.
- Schedule services using our reservations software system to maximize use of time within the studio.
- Call guests to confirm details of their bookings. Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day. You will be required to learn our client management system.
- Welcome guests to the studio and ensure the ultimate guest experience. Check in guests for appointments, confirm first and last name, and provide general orientation to guests upon arrival.
- Process payments for services. Accept and log cash tips for employees.
- Lead a small team of staff in organizing and hosting birthday parties, workshops and events for kids between the ages of 5 to 13 years.
- Engage children in interactive activities that include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, singing, games and dance parties.
- Maintain the studio and other program areas by following the weekly cleaning checklist and performing assigned cleaning tasks.
- Organize and prepare supplies required for parties.

**Preferred Skills**
- Ability to work in a faced paced environment.
- Previous event management experience is an asset.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel), social media and the ability to quickly and effectively learn our customer reservation system with training.
- Previous retail/cash experience is an asset.
- Have a customer friendly attitude.
- Outgoing and bubbly personality.
- Experience working with children is a definite asset. To be successful in this job, you must enjoy working with kids.
- If you are currently going to school for children related programs, that is also an asset.
- The ability to engage a group of children in an activity. Work with kids on arts and crafts projects.
- Creativity and artistic abilities are a definite asset.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

**Availability**

Wednesday to Sunday - required to work evenings.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
