**Sales Associate Job Description**

**COMPANY OVERVIEW**:
Club Pilates offers group reformer classes in various formats and levels to accommodate everyone seeking to learn Pilates and hone their fitness expertise. Club Pilates is a well-established, nation-wide brand, committed to providing affordable and accessible Pilates to the community.

**POSITION**:
The primary role of the Sales Associate is to assist the General Manager with new membership sales by attracting prospective members to the studio, booking them into Demo Classes and assisting in all efforts to enroll the new member. The Sales Associate also assists with retaining current members. Pilates fitness knowledge or background is preferred but not required. Additional responsibilities are listed below.

A Sales Associate at Club Pilates is vital to the studio’s success, driving membership sales, delivering exceptional customer services, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
- Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training
- Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system
- Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
- Must be able to work and problem solve under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Must have proficient computer skills
- Daily and/or occasional travel may be required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Sales**
- Build relationships with potential members to inspire membership enrollment, presenting available classes and services confidently
- Generate leads, ask for referrals and support grassroot events in the community.
- Assist with the intro class sales process to enroll new members.
- Maintain and meet daily sales goals
- Conduct tours of the facility while establishing a relationship and targeting individual’s needs and wants
- Emphasize and enforce objectives of the club as a fitness and wellness provider

**Service**
- Provide premium customer service, ensuring an excellent experience
- Foster a sense of community by building relationships and creating an inclusive, welcoming environment.
- Handle member inquiries, concerns and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment by performing routine cleaning of the retail space, main lobby, washrooms and exercise area before, during and after

classes. This could include mopping floors, dusting, wiping windows and ensuring equipment is sanitized and well-maintained.

**Operations**
- Assist with daily studio operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment, covering the front desk, retail area, bathroom and workout space
- Ensure products are well-stocked and attractively displayed. Communicate supply and inventory needs to management.
- Other duties as assigned

**COMPENSATION & PERKS**:

- This position offers a very competitive hourly rate; based on experience.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
